2018 Sponsors

The GULFSTREAM SAILING CLUB, founded in 1957, is one of Broward County's oldest sailing clubs. The Sailing Club is run by its members who are volunteers and are committed to preserving fun, safety and affordability in Fort Lauderdale yachting.

Boat ownership is not a prerequisite!

We are an active club, holding and participating in many activities and events, including:

  • Races on the ocean and at the lake in Hollywood throughout the year
  • Our annual Beach Bash each August
  • Our annual Gulfstream Sailing Club Regatta, which began in 1991, continues to this day with multiple sailing clubs participating each year
  • Sailing lessons for Adults and Children at Sailors Point.
In case you are interested, you can read the current Club bylaws here.

  • Our annual election was held at our November General Meeting on 11/20. Congratulations to the 2019 Board!
  • The Photo Gallery framework that we have been using completely stopped working so we are in the process of migrating our photos to a new, modern framework. We are adding the photos in reverse chronological order so you may notice some older photos are missing but they will be added soon!
  • Change of Command will be on 2/2/2019, at Tropical Acres. Please come and celebrate and help us ring in the 2019 Board!
  • Thanks to Debi Hallmark, Boatathalon was a huge success!
  • Details for the 2019 GSC Regatta will be available here, stay tuned
  • Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Click here for more info on the meetings.
  • Join us for Happy Hour! Every Tuesday when there isn't a General Meeting. Since August, 2016, happy hours have been at a new location: Historic Dockers of Dania Beach, so come out and join us!
