Lake Site Construction Update March 30

As of March 30 the GSC lake site is still under construction but making progress and in the final stages for new sea wall and docks.

The concrete ramp and sea wall caps are completed. and the cofferdam has been removed and site is mainly cleared of heavy equipment.

Unfortunately opening is delayed and hoped for some time in May.

The land ramps to the docks and floating docs have been prefabricated and should be delivered and installed this week.

The City will perform leveling, cleanup and some land scaping but the club will need to conctruct new boat racks and redistribit boats as well as final cleanup and butification.

we will be asking for volunteers to help Luis and his staff with these tasks.

opening is still hoped for some time in March.

As of Jan 23, the GSC lake site is still under construction for new sea wall and docks.

There is much progress and the completion will probably be in March (let's hope) and then clean up and reorganization can start.
