Adult Learn to Sail at Sailors Point

Classes are designed to guide beginners and intermediates to confidently sail solo on a sunfish.
The 2 day classes are offered monthly.

Payment can accepted via cash, check, or Zelle (email sailorspoint@gulfstreamsailingclub.org). All registrations must be submitted at least one week prior to the class start date.
In person registration is Saturdays at Sailor’s Point from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Registrations are on a first come first serve basis, no reservations and no class day registration accepted.
Due to the minimum class size, all registrations must be turned in (1) WEEK prior to class start date.

Fees:   $250 Non-Hollywood residents, non-club members, includes boat rental.
$200 Club members and Hollywood residents, includes boat rental.

Class Size: (4) people minimum, maximum (6).

Cancelations: A 50% fee applies to any cancellation within (1) WEEK of class start date.

Requirements:  Able to swim; Closed toed shoes (rubber soles); Sun screen & water, if you wear glasses make sure they are tied with a string.

Class Hours:    9:00 AM to 4:30 PM             Boat Used for Classes: Sunfish

Boat Rental Fees (after class taken):  Non-members - $30.00/day;  Members - $10.00/day
Club Membership: (not required)  $125.00 first year; $125.00 renewal thereafter.

Directions to Sailor’s Point: From 95 exit at Sheridan St. and go East to Federal Hwy., go South (right) to Johnson St., East (left) to 10th Ave., South (right) to Northlake Drive, East (left) to end of Northlake Drive, South (right) to gate into Sailors Point.
