About Gulfstream Cruising

Gulfstream conducts many cruising events each year. On a cruise boats sail together, and anchor, raft, moor, or dock together each evening. We have cruised to hundreds of destinations, including Marathon, Key West, Dry Tortugas, Biscayne Bay, Cuba, and the Bahamas. We also do weekend cruises to local destinations such as Hillsboro, Key Biscayne, or Miami.

Club members often organize ad hoc cruises between themselves, it's always fun to sail to a destination with another club member's boat. It helps everyone feel more confident coming to a new harbor or anchorage when they are with another boat that has been there before. It also turns lonely anchorages and unfamiliar harbors into parties with friends.

Captains make sure that their boats have adequate provisions for everyone aboard, and extra to share with people on other boats, so we always have plenty of food and drink. Captains coordinate with their crew to be sure that they have what their crew like to eat and drink. Crew often bring their favorite dishes and beverages. This makes cruising a culinary delight.

Members without boats are encouraged to attend our cruises. Cruising is more fun and less work if there are more sailors on a boat to handle the helm, keep lookout, anchor, dock, trim sails, prepare food, and other cruising tasks. Crew are encouraged to take their turns at any tasks they feel comfortable doing.

If you have any questions about our cruising plans for this year, please contact us!
