About Sailors Point

SailorsPoint is the vibrant waterfront hub of the Gulfstream Sailing Club, beautifully situated on North Lake in Hollywood, Florida. Our serene lakefront location is the perfect backdrop for learning, racing, and community-building on the water.

Whether you’re brand new to sailing or looking to refine your skills, Sailors Point offers a welcoming and supportive environment for sailors of all ages. Our programs include:

• Kids Learn to Sail Programs – Fun, safe, and instructional sessions for children ages 8–14 on a sunfish.

• Adult Learn to Sail Classes – Designed to guide beginners and intermediates to confidently sail solo on a sunfish.

• Racing – A competitive series for youth and adults, plus occasional regattas on North Lake.

• Summer Sailing Camps – Exciting week-long camps for kids combining sailing, skill-building, and outdoor fun.

Beyond lessons and racing, Sailors Point also hosts many of our club’s social events, family days, regattas, and volunteer gatherings. It’s a special place where our members connect, learn, and celebrate their shared love for sailing.
