About Us Officers Club Calendar Gallery 2000 - 2005

At Gulfstream Sailing Club, we would love to meet you - on land or on the water!

We’re always looking to welcome new faces—whether you’re a seasoned sailor, a curious beginner, or somewhere in between. There are plenty of opportunities to meet our members, learn more about the club, and see if we’re the right fit for you.

📍 Member Meetings
Held the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sea Cadets building (300 SW 25th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315). These meetings are a great way to get involved, hear club updates, and connect with fellow sailors.

🍻 Monthly Happy Hours
Join us the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at different local spots. It’s a relaxed, social way to meet members—especially those with larger boats! We update the calendar on our website as each location is confirmed, so be sure to check it regularly.

⛵ Visit Sailor’s Point
Swing by any Saturday between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to see where we sail our smaller boats (Optis, Sunfish, a 420 and an O'Day Widgeon). It's a great chance to see us in action and chat with instructors and members alike.

Come By, Say Hello

At Gulfstream Sailing Club, we believe sailing is more than a sport—it’s a community,
a lifelong passion, and a way to connect people through wind, water, and camaraderie.

Founded in 1957, Gulfstream Sailing Club is one of South Florida’s longest-standing sailing communities. Based in Fort Lauderdale, we’re a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of sailing through education, racing, cruising, and community events. Our club welcomes sailors of all experience levels—from beginners to seasoned racers—and offers a variety of programs for both adults and youth. With activities on the ocean and at our dedicated lake facility, GSC is the perfect place to connect, learn, and enjoy the water with fellow sailing enthusiasts.
